Artisans work with their generational family trained hands to mould the clay shape and imprint the design, then firing the terracotta at a high temperature to give its gorgeous unglazed terracotta finish. Baskets are hand woven by strong and sturdy grass which retains its shape and can comfortably hold the weight of the stonework. The basket weaving in itself is an art.
